It's a bummer when a leak happens, but were here to brighten the day. Let's stop those leaks in their tracks.
IMMEDIATELY shut off your main water valve! Typically they are located in the basement or crawlspace wall corresponding to the front of your house. After shutting the valve, open all your plumbing fixtures/faucets to relieve built up pressure. Then call us to help with a repair!
If you know which fixture you used last, stop using it and give us a call. It's helpful to know what fixtures you used last and for roughly how long.
Toilet won't stop running? Shut off the valve to the left side of the toilet by turning it clockwise. Is there a pool of water at the base of the toilet? Don't SIT on this one, give us a call. Leaks of this nature cause more damage to the places you can't see and can effect your health.
There are quite a few options to let you know when you have a leak. Something as simple as a water alarm (available on Amazon or locally at Home Depot or Lowes) will detect water around it and alert you. You might also consider something as advanced as a whole house water monitoring system, which detects your usage and alerts you on your phone. Some of them have a setting that turns off your water if a leak is detected! Phyn is the brand I like!
Unfortunately, we don't handle leaks in the main line into the house. This typically requires big equipment such as an excavator to fix. Fortunately, we do know experts who will do this work. Contact us for more information.
