    What kind of Water heater?

Interested in going tankless? We'd love to install it for you! Here are some pros and cons, in our opinion:

    PROS

    - Infinite hot water, never runs out

    - Less gas use! 1/3 the gas use compared to standard tank type

    - Space saving!

    - Long lifespan

    - Rebate on your taxes

    CONS

    - Requires maintenance; needs servicing every 1-2 years

    - Initial cost is double on both the unit and install. Average return on investment is 12 years

    - Time required for hot water to reach the fixture is longer. We install every tankless with a recirculation pump to solve this problem - the water actually arrives faster than a standard water heater

If you have a standard water heater and want to replace it with the same style, we can do that! Did you know that you can easily find your hot water heater size? The specification sticker on the heater will list its size. Our preferred hot water heater brand is State, as it's high quality and cost efficient.

Electric hot water heaters are the same size as gas ones, but run of off electricity instead. You will need an electrician to run power for these units. They do not require the same venting as gas hot water heaters,  and are considered more energy efficient than their gas counterparts. However, they take longer to heat up, and may be more costly if electricity is more expensive than natural gas at the time of use. Read up on both options before deciding what's right for you!

This is a new option on the market, and they're super efficient! They do have a larger upfront cost but come with some cool rebates from local cities. You will need an electrician to run power for these units.  As these are new to the market, there's a lot of new information our there. Here's a link to the Department of Energy with details: https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/heat-pump-systems
